Liz joined Bowmark in 2025 as general counsel to manage and develop the firm’s legal and compliance functions.

Liz has more than 20 years of experience as a lawyer advising private equity fund managers and other financial services businesses. Liz was previously a partner, general counsel and compliance officer at STAR Capital, where she was responsible for the firm’s legal and compliance functions. Prior to that, Liz worked in the corporate teams of Clifford Chance LLP and then SJ Berwin LLP. She has a BA (Hons) from the University of Manchester and is a qualified solicitor.
