Bowmark has strengthened its value creation team with the appointment of Steve Moore as a portfolio director, while Sam Price has also been promoted to portfolio director and Sam Beesley to portfolio manager.
Bowmark’s value creation team works throughout the investment lifecycle to help its portfolio companies accelerate their growth and to develop and implement strategies for building long-term value.
Steve Moore joins the team after seven years at Boston Consulting Group, where he led a range of strategic and operational projects for clients in the technology, transport and infrastructure sectors. Sam Price joined Bowmark in 2012 and has worked on a number of the firm’s key value creation projects, as well as developing Bowmark’s portfolio monitoring capabilities. Sam Beesley joined in 2021 and is responsible for performance, analysis and improvement across the portfolio.
Bowmark is also pleased to announce two promotions in its investment team, with Olly Bee becoming an investment director and Raj Mukherji an investment manager. Both are members of the Bowmark Growth Partners (BGP) team, Bowmark’s dedicated small-cap investment fund.
Olly Bee is a member of Bowmark’s managed IT services and software practices and played key roles in BGP’s investments in Xperience and Cornwall Insight. Raj Mukherji is a member of the data and insight practice and was recently involved in BGP’s investment in DeHavilland.
The new appointment and promotions follow a successful 12 months for Bowmark during which it has completed new investments in CubeLogic, Lendscape and DeHavilland, the realisations of The LOD Group, ASK4 and Focus Group, and announced the closing of its latest flagship fund above target, with commitments exceeding £900 million.
Charles Ind, managing partner, said: “We are delighted to announce these team developments, which will further enhance our ability to support enterprising management teams in realising their growth ambitions, at an exciting time for mid-market companies in the business services and technology sectors.”
