The programme enhances leadership capability and business performance by pairing women at a senior management level with experienced mentors from other Bowmark portfolio companies.

Last year, 23 mentees participated in a structured one-to-one mentoring process, alongside leadership development workshops, designed to foster confidence, enhance career progression and build a supportive community of female leaders.

The feedback from participants in the 2024 programme was overwhelmingly positive, with one mentee commenting: “Participating in Bowmark’s Mentoring and Leadership Development Programme made me feel much more confident in my talents and abilities, and in my capacity to strategically position myself in the workplace while maintaining my authenticity.”

Anne Sheedy, ESG director at Bowmark, said: We are incredibly proud of what the programme achieved in its first year. The feedback demonstrated the tangible impact that mentoring can have on female leaders’ confidence, career progression and leadership skills. We look forward to building on this success with our programme in 2025, which also incorporates additional networking opportunities.”
