Bowmark Capital exits The Regard Partnership

Regard is a specialist provider of care and residential services to people with a learning disability who are unable to live independently. The company operates 101 homes with 677 registered beds, and specialises in the care of clients with complex needs and challenging behaviours.

Bowmark invested in Regard in July 2004 to enable the company to execute an acquisition-led growth strategy. Since that time, the business has made 8 add-on acquisitions, taking the number of homes under management from 58 to 101, which has helped to more than double operating profits. Bowmark was represented on the board of the company and actively contributed to the development of the business, including introducing acquisition opportunities and providing further equity funding to support the growth strategy.
