Bowmark Capital-backed CARE Fertility produces first conception-to-birth film

Using Embryoscope® time-lapse imaging, Jaycie’s Journey tracks a little girl’s emergence from just two cells at conception right through to the 100 trillion cells of a toddler.

“Almost 2,000 babies have been born since we started offering CAREmaps® – our highly sophisticated, time lapse incubation system using algorithms that improve the chances of having a baby,” says Dr Simon Fishel, founder and president of CARE Fertility.

Thousands of CARE patients have already accessed a unique portal to view and store images of their developing embryos. Over 5,500 Embryoscope® treatments have been carried out at CARE clinics, with 93% saying they would use it again. Bowmark backed the management buy-out of CARE Fertility in 2012.
