Bowmark Capital announces acquisition of Kisimul Group

Founded in 1977, Kisimul specialises in providing 50-week residential care and education for children with severe learning disabilities and challenging behaviours. The company enjoys an excellent reputation for providing a high quality of care and education which has resulted in strong demand for places at its schools. Currently located at two sites in Lincolnshire, Kisimul employs over 270 staff and has over 30 local authority customers. The management team has plans to expand and develop the services at new sites throughout the East Midlands to take advantage of growing demand for the company’s specialist services.

Bowmark Capital provided £8.5 million of equity to finance the acquisition and to fund future growth opportunities, with The Royal Bank of Scotland providing senior debt facilities.
