Manchester-based WTS specialises in shift planning, rostering and workforce management software and services. Its SaaS-based solution enables organisations to ensure the right resources are available at the right time, in order to increase capacity and productivity significantly, while supporting employee wellbeing and compliance.
WTS works with over 60 organisations and 30,000 users across the public and private sectors, including National Highways, Northern Gas Networks and Birmingham Airport, which will join Totalmobile’s customer base of over 1,000 organisations.
The technology will be added to Totalmobile's existing rostering solution, enhancing the company’s offering to its core vertical sectors of government, health and social care, housing, utilities, facilities management and transport. Totalmobile has been strengthening its sector focus, and has recently appointed Managing Directors for its Public Sector, Property and Facilities Management, and Utilities and Infrastructure operations. The company has also welcomed Steve Turner – previously of ITRS Group, SAP and IBS Software – as its Chief Operating Officer.
This latest investment, which follows last year's acquisitions of Geopal and Cognito iQ, will further the company’s strategy to combine the most comprehensive suite of FSM products with deep sector expertise.
Jim Darragh, CEO of Totalmobile, said: “The acquisition of WTS signals the latest step in our strategy for growth. 2022 is going to be a year of unprecedented growth and customer excellence. Managing operational resources efficiently is more important than ever to our customers as they battle staff shortages, sickness and absence. By bolstering Totalmobile’s rostering software and shift pattern capabilities, we can help organisations keep their services running smoothly, efficiently and with minimum disruption to the customer experience. In addition, the acquisition of WTS also strengthens our footprint in the North of England and provides additional opportunity to increase our profile across the entirety of the UK and Ireland as we look to continue our growth journey.”
Tom Keen, Investment Director at Bowmark, said: “The addition of WTS to the Totalmobile family will strengthen its technology platform and enhance its product offering, as well as deliver new opportunities for WTS. The deal marks another successful step in Totalmobile’s expansion strategy and we are pleased to be supporting the team in its growth plan.”
