Rahul joins the Bowmark Growth Partners fund, established in 2021 to extend Bowmark’s investment programme to growth-oriented, lower mid-market businesses in the UK. The fund has already completed three investments in: Cornwall Insight, a provider of data and research to the energy sector; Xperience, a specialist IT services company; and DeHavilland, a provider of political data and intelligence.
Rahul joins from BGF where he was a senior investor and led 14 transactions over a six-year period. He started his career at PwC and subsequently spent six years as an investment director at Rutland Partners.
Rahul Satsangi commented: “I am delighted to join Bowmark. The firm has a great reputation and is known for its commitment to excellence and its innovative investment approach. I look forward to working with the team to continue to deliver outstanding results for our investors.”
“Rahul is a highly experienced investment professional with in-depth knowledge of software and tech-enabled services," said Charles Ind, managing partner. “His investment track record, combined with his strong network of contacts and reputation, make him a valuable addition to the team.”
Rahul’s appointment follows several other recent hires to further enhance Bowmark’s investment team. In August, Dana Liu joined the firm as an investment manager from Crescent Capital Partners, having previously worked as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group. In June, Inderpal Lall and Faustas Stoncius joined as investment executives from Rothschild & Co and Bank of America respectively, while Emma Ward joined as an origination executive from Foresight Group in May.
