Tom joined Bowmark in 2008, becoming a partner in 2014 and a member of the Investment Committee and Executive Board in 2016. He has played a key role in the firm’s development over the past 16 years and leads its software practice. Tom has been responsible for a number of successful investments and his current board positions include WSD, Lendscape and Focus Group. Prior to Bowmark, he worked in corporate finance for PwC.
The announcement comes towards the end of another successful year for Bowmark, during which it has completed new investments in CubeLogic, Eque2, Transparity and Turnkey and the realisation of Focus Group to Hg (in which Bowmark also reinvested). In January, Bowmark also announced the closing of its latest flagship fund above target, with commitments exceeding £900 million.
Charles Ind, managing partner, commented: “Tom has made an invaluable contribution to Bowmark’s development over many years, and we are delighted to announce his appointment as a managing partner. In this new role, Tom will continue to help drive Bowmark’s successful strategy of active investment in exceptional technology and services businesses as we deploy our new fund, supporting enterprising management teams to realise their growth ambitions.”
