Why we invested
Drake & Morgan has a differentiated offering that is attractive to both consumers and landlords. All dishes use seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and there are over 25 wines available by the glass, along with a “mixology” bar, a deli counter and master classes for customers. This was an opportunity to back an entrepreneurial management team to roll-out a proven formula, building on our track record in the industry.

The story so far
Since our initial investment, Drake & Morgan has grown its estate from five to 17 sites, including new units in Central London, Manchester and Heathrow Airport.
Bowmark has worked closely with the management team to help the company successfully navigate the challenges of Covid-19, despite the pandemic’s significant impact on the hospitality industry. Today, Drake & Morgan continues to thrive as a go-to destination for its customers, with each site unique in its design and identity whilst sharing the same innovative format, menu and best-in-class service philosophy.
