Due to declining fertility rates and other lifestyle factors, CARE Fertility operates in a growing market. The company is the clear market leader with an outstanding reputation based on its superior success rates and clinical leadership. This was an opportunity to back a management team with an unrivalled track record, to expand through the roll-out and acquisition of new clinics.

The result
During Bowmark’s period of investment, CARE expanded its operations, adding clinics in London, Tunbridge Wells, Bath, Birmingham and Dublin, through the development and acquisition of new sites and investment in existing facilities. The company also remained at the forefront of new clinical technology, including developing the time lapse embryo imaging technique, CAREmaps.
In 2019, CARE Fertility was sold to Silverfleet Capital for an undisclosed sum.
